Project Manager Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for administration of the Council's Volunteer Systems (Salesforce) database and the Council's business processes through Salesforce. She/he is also responsible for evaluation methods with particular emphasis on measuring and assessing the outcomes of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience within the Council's jurisdiction. Chief Development Officer Position Summary: The Chief Development Officer organizes, directs and coordinates the development operating unit to secure funding and resources necessary to support council needs and initiatives. She/he is responsible, along with the Chief Marketing/Communications Officer, for continually presenting a positive council image to all the communities in the council jurisdiction. The incumbent in this position will have a very strong presence in the community and will serve as one of the Council public relations figures. See the full sample Position Description here.


Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Position Summary: The CEO is accountable for providing leadership, strategic direction and vision for the development and achievement of the organization's mission in partnership with the council's Board of Directors. The CEO works closely with the Board of Directors to determine the council business and fund development strategies. The CEO advises, recommends and assists the council Board of Directors in the formulation of policies governing the council and implements policies and directive of the board.


Through the senior management team, the CEO shapes the program and fund development strategies; builds community partnerships; provides direction and guidance to the council in the development of goals and objective to execute these strategies; and directs the council's day-to-day operations. The CEO is responsible for the stewardship of the council's human, material and fiscal assets and ensures that council affairs are conducted in a manner consistent with corporate and charter requirements as well as federal, state and local laws and regulations.
