About Bonnie Barczykowski, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of the USA

When Bonnie Barczykowski joined GSUSA as chief executive officer in 2023, she was already familiar to many across the organization, having spent more than ten years as CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. During that time, she built a compelling strategic vision that successfully expanded access for girls across the region, transformed program experiences, engaged communities, and led a $50 million comprehensive fundraising campaign.

She has been a champion for girls and women throughout her career in both the private and non-profit sectors, including a decade leading one of the largest chains of fitness centers for women in the world. She received both her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Lindenwood University.

Bonnie is excited to be leading an organization to which she is so deeply devoted, and she is committed to ensuring that every girl has an opportunity to join Girl Scouts, make their voices heard, and develop the skills they need to lead—today and into the future.

The national Girl Scout Staff Association (formerly AGSES) gives our members skills, tools, and connections to achieve their current goals and further their professional growth and advancement. We support ongoing professional development and career direction through learning opportunities, mentoring, and networking. The Girl Scout Staff Association serves as a valuable partner to councils by enhancing their efforts in staff inclusion, development, and retention.
