Brenda Episcopo is an accomplished leader and expert in conflict resolution, currently serving as the CEO of Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York. With a distinguished career rooted in mediation and arbitration, Brenda began her professional journey leading a Community Dispute Resolution Center.
A highly certified mediator and arbitrator, she has trained hundreds of individuals to become certified mediators and resolve conflicts effectively. Recognized by the New York State Office of Court Administration, Brenda was one of only three layperson Train-the-Trainers in the state and also taught Mediation at Mohawk Valley Community College. She has transformed every day people into power house conflict resolvers, and she can train you, too! Brenda pioneered innovative programs like Community/Police Mediation, Child Welfare Permanency Mediation, and Victim/Offender Mediation, among others. Over her career, she has mediated, arbitrated, or overseen the resolution of thousands of cases involving child custody, landlord/tenant disputes, workplace conflicts, special education issues, small claims, and more. Her groundbreaking work continues to inspire and create lasting impacts in both the community and professional spheres.
