Emerging Manager Series, Part 2 Accountability & Feedback Essentials Description: Part 2 of the Emerging Manager Series equips new and developing managers with two of the most critical skills for leading high‑performing teams: accountability and feedback.
The session begins with a clear, practical look at what accountability is—and what it is not. Participants will explore how accountability drives results, strengthens trust, and improves team effectiveness. Through guided reflection and practical frameworks, managers will identify common “accountability gaps” and develop strategies to close them. The workshop then transitions into the art of giving and receiving feedback. Participants will learn the distinction between feedback and evaluation, and practice approaches for delivering feedback that is timely, clear, and actionable. The session also highlights how managers can invite and receive feedback themselves to model openness and continuous improvement. This event is open to all Girl Scout Staff, whether or not they are members of Girl Scout Staff Association. Only $10 for non members. FREE for members.
