Join the Girl Scout Staff Association for an engaging and reflective session focused on understanding workplace burnout—especially within mission-driven and nonprofit environments—and learning practical ways to promote wellness across multiple dimensions of our work lives. This interactive session will explore what burnout really looks like in nonprofit settings, why it’s often overlooked, and how emotional labor, limited resources, and deep commitment to mission can quietly take a toll. Our hosts will share insights, real-world examples, and accessible self-care tools that support emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Designed for both staff and Volunteers, this panel will also highlight the critical role leadership plays in modeling healthy boundaries, normalizing rest, and creating sustainable workplace cultures where people can thrive—not just survive.
Participants will leave with: -A clearer understanding of burnout and its early warning signs -Practical self-care strategies that fit into real workdays -Reflection tools to assess personal and organizational wellness -Actionable ideas leaders can use to support staff well-being
Please note that this is a 90-minute session. This event is FREE and open to all Girl Scout Staff, whether or not they are members of Girl Scout Staff Association. Questions? Contact us.
