What would it look like to go beyond meeting expectations and create truly memorable experiences for everyone we serve? Using insights from Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara, we will explore how small, intentional actions can build stronger relationships, increase engagement, and enhance the Girl Scout experience for volunteers, families, and staff. We’ll discuss practical applications for council work and identify opportunities to elevate service across our organization.

This session is led by Kristin Neel, Vice President of Operations for Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, where she supports the Customer Care, Volunteer Relations, Property, and Business Operations teams. A proud Girl Scout alum and Lifetime Member, Kristin has spent nearly 20 years serving advancing the Girl Scout mission in North Texas.

Kristin believes in continuous improvement, investing in people, and building strong teams that can adapt, grow, and thrive through change. Over the past year, she has helped champion the principles of Unreasonable Hospitality throughout GSNETX, encouraging staff to create meaningful, memorable experiences that to surprise and delight girls, volunteers, families, and their co-workers alike.

This event is FREE and open to all Girl Scout Staff, whether or not they are members of Girl Scout Staff Association. Questions? Contact us.
